[edit] Life at KDKA-TV

Patrice King Brown was hired at KDKA-TV, Pittsburgh in 1978 as a host for Pittsburgh 2Day (1978-1990), a popular talk/variety show, which was also the highest rated local program broadcast in the Pittsburgh market for ten of the twelve years Patrice was co-host. With the job, she had the privilege of interviewing local and national superstars of that time. After hosting Pittsburgh 2Day Patrice began anchoring at KDKA. She currently anchors alongside Stacy Smith at 4 and 6 P.M. and with Ken Rice at 11 P.M.

Since joining KDKA-TV, Patrice has earned many awards for her work as a reporter, talk show host and as a news anchor woman.

  • Mid-Atlantic Emmy for her dedicated team coverage, along with Stacy Smith, also of KDKA, of the “Crash of Flight 427” in Beaver County

Patrice is the sister of Dave King. He is a host/presenter for the American QVC network. On July 28, 2007, she married Dr. Paul Nemiroff, formerly of KDKA.
