Patriarch can refer to:
- Patriarch, the highest-ranking bishops of the autocephalous churches in Eastern Orthodoxy, Oriental Orthodoxy, the Roman Catholic Church, and the Assyrian Church of the East
- Patriarchs (Bible), prominent figures in the Hebrew scriptures, especially Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
- The leader of a patriarchy (system of power where males predominate)
- Patriarch (Mormonism), the Melchizedek Priesthood office in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that is called evangelist in the New Testament
- Patriarch (Buddhism), a title for a particular group of high ranking Buddhist monastics of various who are heads and successors to their respective sects (such as Bodhidharma of the Ch'an school)
- Nasi, the head of the Supreme Court (Sanhedrin) of Israel from 191 BCE to 425 CE.
