[edit] Plot
The cartoon begins with a tour of a hospital. Porky checks in, with a stomach ache, caused by overeating at his birthday party. Instead of a real doctor, he encounters a patient posing as "Dr. Chilled-Air" (a reference to Dr. Kildare), who is eager to operate on him with a saw.
This cartoon is the fifth and last appearance of the prototype of Bugs Bunny, although Bugs per se had debuted 29 days before in A Wild Hare against Elmer Fudd. Also, it features the early design from A Wild Hare.
[edit] Censorship
- With the exception of the broadcast during The Bob Clampett Show, Cartoon Network edits the scenes of a caricature of Rochester, from radio's The Jack Benny Program as an elevator operator. Nickelodeon also did this edit.
