Patalghar, which literally means an "Underground Chamber", is a Bengali science fiction film based on the story of same name by Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay. It has won 2 national & 2 Bengal Film Journalist Association awards in India. However, the film does not follow the original storyline and there are additional characters in the film version.
