[edit] Welcome

Hello, PastorMatt, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --Ioannes Pragensis 17:22, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WGSR-LP article

I saw your notes on the discussion page and saw my error. I left a public mea culpa there, but wanted to extend to you personally a mea culpa and an apology. I re-reviewed the case description and found that I had misread the fact that the piece in question was for a paper magazine, not a broadcast newsmagazine. The description of Mr. Smith in the case as a "newscaster" threw me off. I apologize for my error - I did not mean to make a false accusation against you or your television station. --dhett 07:52, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your addition to WP:3O

Hey. I saw your addition to the third opinion page, and I just wanted to remind you that additions to the page are supposed to be signed with five tildes (~~~~~). This only adds a timestamp, and not the user's name - which is important so as to maintain a level of anonymity. Thanks! — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 13:04, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your RfA

Hi there. I closed your request for adminship (located at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/PastorMatt) early, under the guideline called Wikipedia:Snowball clause on the basis that your request had little to no chance of succeeding. This has no bearing on your worth as an editor, I for one appreciate your contributions, but the community as a whole usually requires a little more experience as you will see from the comments on your nom. Most people wait at least 6 months and have at least 1,000 edits before considering nominating themselves. Again, this is no reflection on you, and I'd like to thank you for volunteering to help with an obviously dreary task. Please don't be disheartened! And hopefully we'll see you at RfA again in a few months :) CordeliaHenrietta (talk) 16:39, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
