[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:RGS Crest.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:RGS Crest.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Template:PD-CrownCopyright
Hi there. I have orphaned Template:PD-CrownCopyright (not the images you tagged with it, just the template itself). Please be aware that Crown Copyright is not a public domain 'licence' for Wikipedia's purposes! The correct template where Crown Copyright applies is {{CrownCopyright}}. Please check that Image:Linton-On-Ouse.jpg and Image:Leuchars.jpg are now correctly tagged, and add a fair use rationale for each. Thank you. — mholland 09:45, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] TfD nomination of Template:PD-CrownCopyright
Template:PD-CrownCopyright has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. — mholland 09:57, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Article in Progress:886 (City of Ripon) Squadron
Hi,
As a member of the ATC I have a particular interest in all wikipedia articles regarding the Corps. As a fairly experienced wikipedia user, i strongly advise against creating a Sqn article. Wikipedia is NOT a web-hosting provider, and as your Sqn does not appear to meet the criteria of the notability guideline, which can be found here, I suggest another method of publicicising your Sqn. If you wish to make information about your Sqn available, may I suggest you resume the article on the dedicated Cadet wiki, or possibly create a Sqn website.
Any thurther questions can be discussed at my talk page.
Thank you in advance,

[edit] Copyright violation - Flagstaff Dark Sky image
Hi, Sorry to rv your edit, but I reverted the Flagstaff, AZ article to remove the dark sky image and marked it for deletion at Wikimedia. It was used on the Astronomy Picture of the Day site by permission, and was taken by a private photographer. NASA had nothing to do with it other than asking the copyright holding parties for permission to use it at APOD. The APOD page gives the required credit line. JCHall (talk) 22:23, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Tyndale Academy
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Tyndale Academy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Karanacs (talk) 21:00, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
