Talk:Pasta de Conchos mine disaster

[edit] "Multiple footnotes to the same reference will not work: you must insert two uniquely named footnotes."
The referencing in this article is wrong. The numbering goes up to 9, but there are only 5 items listed at the end. I tried to fix all the footnotes and got myself so confused, and didn't save anything after a few previews. I give up. Can anyone more familiar with footnotes take over, please ? -- PFHLai 06:02, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- Well, how do you cite two unique facts from one article? Mike H. That's hot 06:08, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

- I don't know. Listing the source more than once at the end ? But then each time a different tag has to be used .... I'm lost .... -- PFHLai 06:11, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

- Well, I can do a different ref but I just thought that sort of thing would defeat the purpose. If that's all I have to do it'll be relatively easy to change. I can do it tomorrow. Mike H. That's hot 06:19, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

The citation style described in m:Cite.php is far easier to keep track of and allows for multiple citation of the same item. -- Rune Welsh | ταλκ 11:39, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
