This article needs to be expanded, as it has only limited information. Thanks. Mar de Sin Talk to me! 19:16, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

I have tried to expand the article to the extent of my knowledge. You are right though. It needs to be more thorough. Thanks. AnupamTalk 19:56, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

I appreciate all your efforts in writing this article. I have found another good reference: Dawat Magazine: Study of the Pathan Communities in four States of India. Thanks for your ebullience. AnupamTalk 04:00, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Diaspora

If this article is about the pashtun's in the diaspora, then why are the native Pashtuns living in Pakhtunkhwa also included? In the article about Indians in the diaspora, it does not include the Indians living inside India, for obvious reasons. 198.7.249.101 16:04, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pakhtun cuisine

Hello,

there is not sth like Pashtun cuisine. I do not know who is the witer of such a comment but it is 100% wrong. Those Pashtuns (and that make only 5% of 100% pashtun population of Afgh.) who live beside the Persian speaking and persian population (Tajiks) of Afghanistan have adoptet the persian-turkic cuisine of Tajiks which is unrelated to Pashtuns. Those 95% of Pashtuns who are still nomads do not know Tajik cuisine. In Pakistan they have adoptet the Punjabi/Sindi and Hindi cuisine but own cuisine, a food culture they do not have. As nomads they have only their animals, they only know how to make cheese and what they eat the whole day is bread with warm milk and sometimes tea.

btw, only Tajiks (mainly Tajiks) or persianized Pashtuns are running persian cuisines outside Afghanistan. Even in Peshawar Tajik´s cuisine is well-known and famous. Unfortuantely, since Tajiks do also live in Afghanistan as native population today some identify themself with the term Afghan, unfortuantely. And Taeeb Zia and Abdul Karim are both Tajiks, see also their names, specially from the first one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.68.194.92 (talk) 16:29, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
