Paschim Maharashtra

Paschim Maharashtra is a region of India's western Maharashtra state, which includes districts of Nashik, Ahmadnagar, Pune, Satara, Solapur, Sangli, Kolhapur. This prosperous belt is famous for its sugar factories. Farmers in the region are economically well off due to fertile land, good irrigation.
