It can be used on any wiki. jj137 (talk) 03:43, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- My immediate reaction was that since he has less than 500 edits here he should be declined, but I later went back and approved him because he has well over 1000 on de:. The English wikipedia is the only place you can be approved for AWB, so sometimes users from other languages (with over 500 edits there) will request approval here, and they should be approved. jj137 (talk) 04:30, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
You're welcome

Notes from Deskana
The Arbitration Committee received a request for unblock from this user via e-mail. On my discussion with this user, the following was noted;
- He openly admit to flooding #wikipedia-en to me on IRC. He said "i used to botnet #wikipedia for giggles", then "now i rarely do it", rarely being the operative word there. He was not even remotely apologetic.
- When I said I was declining his unblock, he said "I'm involving a crat anyway". I told him that not only am I a bureaucrat, but that they had nothing to do with unblocks. He then said he wanted to ask the community for an unblock. I told him you can't ask ArbCom, get it declined, then ask someone else until you get the answer you want.
- When I again told him I was declining his unblock, he started insulting me. He said he'd appeal to Jimbo (also calling Jimbo a name in the process). He then offered me $2000 to unblock him. I'm pretty sure that wasn't serious.
Given the above, it is the recommendation of the Committee that the community be aware this user has indicated they will seek to forum shop, and that unblocking should be done only upon communal consensus that the block no longer serves to protect the project.
For the Arbitration Committee,
