Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Portal:Current events, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. {{helpme}}
I don't want people to be able to view this "abandonded" account and futhermore create any more trouble. So I politely request that you delete my account. You have deleted accounts before, I've seen the template and I've had a previous account that just so happened to go "missing." So please delete my account.
- Due to the fact that Wikipedia content is licensed under the GFDL, all edits must be kept for attribution purposes, and so your account cannot be deleted. You do, however, have the right to vanish, which you can exercise by (1) requesting your user page (found at Special:Mypage) and/or user talk page (found at Special:Mytalk) be deleted, by adding the {{db-userreq}} template to them; (2) requesting to change your username to something that is unconnected with you (possibly a random collection of letters and numbers); (3) never logging in to your account again. If you do this, you are still free to register a new username if you wish to continue editing Wikipedia....... Dendodge .. TalkHelp 08:57, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for that Dendodge, I'll do that.
{{unblock|I wish to unblock my account for a temporary time deemed necicary by you or your fellow administrators. I wish to unblock on the grounds that I wish to change my username and vanish both this talk page and my user page. Thank you in advance}}
My user still seems to be blocked and disalows me to submit my request of a username change depite what has been written above.
- You are now unblocked. Do not make any edits outside of a name change request --Daniel J. Leivick (talk) 09:33, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

My I.P. address apears to be blocked and this forbids me from requesting a name change. Thanks Paraside (talk) 09:36, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- It'll be an autoblock. Clearing an autoblock
Due to the nature of the block applied we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:
- If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache. - Try to edit the Sandbox.
- If you are still blocked, copy the {{unblock-ip|...}} code generated for you under the "IP blocked?" section. This is usually hidden within the "What do I do now?" section. If so, just click the "[show]" link to the right hand side to show this text.
- Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.
If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you can resume editing. ...... Dendodge .. TalkHelp 09:38, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
Please note, I've removed the {{helpme}} tag from your talk page as it appears an answer to your question has been posted. If you require further assistance, feel free to post it again. ——Ryan | t • c 10:13, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
I'm confused; why are we entertaining this vandal's requests for a new account? Right to Vanish is all well and good, but the bulk of this account's edits have been vandalisms. Just leave him blocked and let's get on with our lives. --Golbez (talk) 11:03, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. It's obvious this ****'s only goal is to abuse Wikipedia for spamming his rock band. Every edit it just destructively blatant advertising for his band Paraside and look at his previous profile. If he's embarrassed the name of his band in Google search results then he dug his own grave and keep the ill-willed vandal banned.--Fife Club (talk) 03:28, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
