First of all the name Paramanjara is taken from a story idea The Pit of Paramanjara. The title created by Daniel Chadderton. The story was (and possibly still is) to be filmed at some point. A cross between Hammer Horror and H P Lovecraft.

Paramamnjara has links with improvised comedy in the form of Dan & Jones - Mind the Hedge (www.myspace.com/mindthehedge), the band Single-Lens Reflex (www.myspace.com/returnmarsavailable) and Charles Wynford Lodge... the actor (www.myspace.com/charleswynfordlodge).
