[edit] Generic participant userbox for WikiProjects

This template may be used on userpages for users who are participants/members of certain WikiProjects. Pages that use this template will automatically be added to a sub-category of Category:Wikipedians by WikiProject.

Add this code to your userpage:

{{participant|''WikiProject name without the Wikipedia:WikiProject prefix''}}

For example,

{{participant|Cryptography}}

renders the following userbox and adds your userpage to Category:WikiProject Cryptography participants.

This user is a participant in WikiProject Cryptography.


[edit] Participants vs. members

This template contains some magic that makes it autodetect whether users in your WikiProject are categorised as "participants" or "members". Thus it will use the right ending when it adds your userpage to the user category.

For example the code

{{participant|Saints}}

renders the following userbox and adds your userpage to Category:WikiProject Saints members.

This user is a participant in WikiProject Saints.
