[edit] Notability claims

The article makes several separate claims as to the notability of the subject without changes. The fact that this comic strip currently runs in newspapers in major metropolitan markets alone is enough to denote its notability for inclusion. Its inclusion in the Attitude 3 print collection, and the fact that is is by the creator of Erfworld, another notable comic would each be acceptable criteria. It is agreed that the article could be fleshed out to include references to the work in print interviews (these do exist) and other additional sources. However, to say that the article makes no claims to notability of the subject is incorrect. Please remove this tag.

Agreed. Publication in major print newspapers alone should be sufficient to be notable. A list of print publications that currently or have previously featured this comic can be found on the website's front page: http://partiallyclips.com/. This tag needs removing, and even a modicum of research would have shown that it should never have be added in the first place. 76.22.111.251 22:22, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

I third this. I mean, five years of comics in and of themselves is a big deal for a webcomic, and this one actually made the jump to newspapers.

Seeing no further argument in the other direction, and noting direct references to three print publications and indirect references to around 25, it appears to me that the article has sufficiently established notability. I'm removing the tag. DarthParadox 20:47, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] King and Jester image

The King and Jester comic was inappropriately speedy-deleted. The policy cited refers to non-free content; however, the comic in question has been released by its author.

The comic has had its notification updated to reflect a complete release into public domain. I've reuploaded it into Wikimedia Commons with the new notification, and relinked it in the article. DarthParadox 23:02, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
