[edit] Website

http://www.parsix.org/ appears to be rubbish?

The Parsix site is currently inactive, making me suspect that the distribution is no longer active. I have no confirmation of this and I will wait a couple of weeks before editing the article, but the site is rubbish at the moment.
P.S. Please sign your query like this: ~~~~ to add your username (or in your case IP address) to help us identify who to reply to and when you asked the question. Thanks. 0L1 12:18, 23 September 2006 (UTC).
Just checked on Distrowatch, and the website has moved. The current address is now http://www.parsix.ir/. I will change this in the article now. 0L1 12:20, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
OK, the original website is back up again, and another user has fixed it. Oli

[edit] Ubuntu-based?

This looks like based on Ubuntu? --Emx 10:04, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

No, it uses the GNOME desktop environment, so it looks like Ubuntu, but it is based on Knoppix, which is based on Debian. Ubuntu is just based on Debain. They also both use the human theme for GNOME, so they do indeed look similar. 0L1 - Talk - Contribs - 17:51 October 9 2006 (UTC)
Ah, this Human theme made me think it's Ubuntu based :P --Emx 18:38, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
