I learnt that the Stamp Act started in 1663 which caused a war between Holland and England. Why is it he Stamp Duty Act 1838??
- Is it possible you mean the Staple Act? It is a common alternative name for the 1663 Navigation Act, which is referred to from the Second Anglo-Dutch War article. Kurando | ^_^ 10:31, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
