[edit] Dates

I was going through and adding some more detailed info to the article but stumbled across something that dosent make sence to me, in the article it says that construction started in 1874, however my understanding is that construction did not start until 1881-1882, in 1881 a joint parliamentary commitee was appointed building committee which called for tenders and subsequently awards the construction tender for the west wing to the Kapunda Mining and Building Company, my source on this is predominately a book called "Completion of Parliament House" written to commemorate the centenary... My source was the parliamentary website, which was a little thin on the detail (especially when compared to the Queensland Parliament's website). I may have misread the information, or worded it poorly. If you have a book on the Parliament House, I'd trust it above the website.--cj | talk 15:10, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

That sounds good to me. Similar featured articles you want to look at include the Palace of Westminster, Irish Houses of Parliament and Michigan State Capitol.--cj | talk 15:19, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
