• Split the article in two parts: one for the distinctive (or trivial) features of the church, and another for the history proper. Case in point (among others): the originally five (now three) bells is a regular staple of Meycauayan "history" accounts (usually reprints and copies of articles from previous years and reprinted on local publications) but essentially trivial in the light of how the history of the parish was discussed (it tends to distract from the flow of the narrative). The best approach is to separate these features---in my work with the Commission on Church cultural heritage, we found more things that deserve a separate section---without having to distract from how the parish developed and evolved over time.

• Compile a list of parish priests and assigned priests in the parish.

• Compile a list of Meycauayan natives who later became priests. Worth noting are Archbishops Artemio Casas (now deceased, formerly Archbishop of Iloilo) and Leonardo Legaspi (Archbishop of Nueve Caceres in Bicol) and Bishop Deo Iniguez (now Bishop of Caloocan.

Is the article about the Parish or the Parish Church? It seems a bit misleading since the title references "Parish Church of St. Francis of Assisi", while the first line in the article is: "The Parish of St. Francis of Assisi in Meycauayan, Bulacan is the oldest parish in Meycauayan..."
