[edit] Conversion between Services

I need information!!!!! My husband was in the Marines and earned his "Gold Wings"( Naval Parachutist Badge), his is now in the Army with me. Can he still wear the "Gold Wings" on his BDU's and Class A's or does he have to wear the Armys equivalent(Senior Parachutist)? I need to know ASAP!!!!! Inspection coming soon and nowonw know the answer.

I believe former Navy and Marine Corps personnel are permitted to wear the Naval Parachustist Badge on Army uniforms. I have never heard of a regulation prohibiting it. Call 1-800-318-5298 to speak to Army medals experts. Its the Human Resource Command main number (next door to where I work at the National Personnel Records Center -Husnock 20 Oct 2004
