Coordinates: Parvathi-puram or Parvati-puram (Telugu - పార్వతీపురము) is a City, Municipality and Division in Vizianagaram district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1]

Parvathipuram is located at 18°46'N 83°25'E.[2] It has an average elevation of 120 metres (396 feet).

As of 2001 India census,[3] Parvathipuram had a population of 49,692. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Parvathipuram has an average literacy rate of 66%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 57%. In Parvathipuram, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Parvathipuram mandal had a population of 1,07,919 in 2001. Males constitute 53,813 and females 54,106 of the population. The average literacy rate of the mandal population is 61%, that of males 73% and females 49%. There are 54 revenue villages and 26 panchayats in Parvathipuram mandal.

- The Area Hospital, Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad is located in Parvathipuram. It has bed strength of 100 in-patients.[7]
- There are two railway stations within one kilometer distance, named Parvathipuram and Parvathipuram Town. Parvatipuram station is 138 kilometers far from Visakhapatnam and Parvatipuram Town station is 139 kilometers far from Visakhapatnam.
