Party of People's Unity

The Party of People's Unity (French: Parti de l'Unité Populaire) is an opposition political party in Tunisia. It is socialist and had 7 members in the 1999 Tunisian parliament. At the last legislative elections, 24 October 2004, the party won 3.6 % of the popular vote and 11 out of 189 seats. The same day, its candidate Mohamed Bouchiha, won 3.8 % at the presidential elections.
