"Party Starter" is the second single released from Will Smith's album Lost & Found. There are slight differences between the single and album versions. The single version has different beats and is longer with added compression.
The song was written with rapper Ludacris.
The music video has what seems to be a cameo of Will's past music partner DJ Jazzy Jeff. However this turned out to only be a lookalike as he wasn't available for the video shoot.
The song didn't perform as highly on the charts as his previous hit Switch, but fans were generally positive towards the choice of single that was chosen from the album to be released.
