Parshuram is located at 23.2167° N 91.4417° E . It has 30989 units of house hold and total area 196.61 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Parshuram has a population of 176731. Males constitute are 50.25% of the population, and females 49.75%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 84659. Parshuram has an average literacy rate of 42.7% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
