Parry McCluer High School is located in Buena Vista, Virginia. Its mascot is Yosemite Sam. This school uses the 4x4 block system. The school does have a school newspaper called "The Blue Print" and has a population of approximately 330 students. The school's band is called The Marching Blues. The current principal is Haywood Hand.

Parry McCluer has also been the state runner-up in Single A basketball twice. Notable graduates include: current Philadelphia Phillies manager Charlie Manuel and Clyde Lineberry.
