Paromitar Ek Din or (English title: House of Memories) (2000) is an award-winning Indian Bengali feature film directed by Aparna Sen.

The story is mostly based on events in a traditional North Calcutta bengali household, where Paromita (Rituparna Sengupta) comes in as the newly married bride of Rajatabha Dutta. Sohini Halder (Khuku) is the demented daughter of Aparna and brother of Rajatabha. In time, Paromita has a son, who is a spastic. Her marriage gradually breaks apart, but she forms an uncommon bond with aparna, her mother-in-law. Paromita finally moves out when she gets divorced, but moves back to nurse Aparna when Aparna is ill. Finally, Aparna dies, and Paromita returns one final time to pay her last respects to the dead Aparna.
