Parole is a town and a notified area committee in Kathua district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

As of 2001 India census[1], Parole had a population of 7074. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Parole has an average literacy rate of 60%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 52%. In Parole, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
