Parkway South Middle School is a middle school in the Parkway School District in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The school mascot is the Patriot and the colors are red, white, and blue, just like Parkway South, the high school it feeds into. The principal, Craig Fenner has been with the Parkway School District for the last 25 years.
South Middle uses a trimester system instead of quarters or semesters. Each grade level is divided into two or three teams comprised of three-five teachers and between 75 and 140 students.[1] Every student has homeroom at the beginning and end of the day, four core classes, and two "encore" or elective classes. Every student is also required to take physical education and health classes. After school activities offered by South Middle include intramural teams, clubs, and community service projects.
