Parkville High School (PHS) is a four-year public high school in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. The school was originally opened in 1953 is what is now Parkville Middle School.[1]

Parkville High School

The school is located just northeast of Baltimore City. It is on the inside of the Baltimore Beltway, on Putty Hill Avenue, just west of Harford Road MD Route 147, and east of Old Harford Road. The school boundaries border Towson High School, Loch Raven High School, Perry Hall High School, and Overlea High School.[2]

In 2006, Parkville High School was named one of the best 1300 schools in America.[3]

Parkville has a magnet program for mathematics, science, and computer science.

Parkville's graduation rate has been steadily sinking over the past 10 years. In 2006, it had sunken to about 78%, down from a high ten-year high of 92% in 1996.[4]

Parkville is a fairly large high school in Baltimore County, almost reaching 2,000 students several times. Its enrollment has climbed significantly over the past 14 years.
