Parkview Hospital (formerly Fort Wayne City Hospital and Methodist Hospital) is the flagship hospital of Parkview Health Systems[1] in Northeastern Indiana. It was founded in 1878 and is now one of six hospitals in Fort Wayne. It is not-for-profit.

Parkview is a level II trauma center with a flight ambulance program featuring the two, "Samaritan" helicopters.

The hospital holds 565 inpatient beds including a Surgical/Trauma ICU, a Medical ICU, a Pediatric/Teen ICU, the Family Birthing Center, the Parkview Heart Institte, two telemetry floors, a pediatric floor, a general medical floor, a general surgical floor, the Stanley Wissman stroke center, an Orthopedic/Neurosurgery unit, an oncology unit, and a sleep lab.

The hospital also houses a 28 bed Continuing Care Center, ostomy/wound care, and outpatient services.

In 2006, Parkview had 22,138 inpatient discharges, nearly 15,000 surgeries, 1,594 births, and 1,109 helicopter flights.

Parkview Hospital is located at 2200 Randallia Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States, near downtown Fort Wayne between State Boulevard and Lake Avenue; however, starting with the Family Birthing Center in February 2008, all of Parkview's specialty units will be moving to the future site of the Parkview Regional Medical Center off Dupont Road in northern Fort Wayne.
