The Parkside Football club is an Australian rules football club located in the heart of Darebin in the northern suburbs of 8km from the Melbourne - about 8km from CBD. The club plays their home matches at Pitcher Park in Alphington

The PARKSIDE FOOTBALL CLUB was founded in 1934 when it became a member of the Victorian Amateur Football Association. It was a member of the VAFA for nearly 70 years before becoming the newest member of the Northern Football League (formally the (DVFL) in 2003.

Parkside have accumulated a total of 12 premierships in the VAFA, the last of these being in 2001.

The Club is rich in history and tradition. The club greatest son is Ray Gabelich - a legendary ruckman with Collingwood in the VFL during the 1950s and 1960s.
