Parkside Collegiate Institute is one of the three secondary schools in St. Thomas, Ontario under supervision of the Thames Valley District School Board. In early February of 2007 there was a fire at Parkside that damaged the Cafetorium and caused smoke damage in the Music and Art rooms. As of September 2007 mostly everything has been fixed.
