Parish of Dollymount
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Roman Catholic Parish of Dollymount was formed to serve the locality of that name (which emerged in the mid-19th century) in 1966, when the ancient Parish of Clontarf was split into three. It is served by the Church of St. Gabriel, with its adjoining parish hall. Dollymount serves a population of over 6,000.
For the earlier history of the Catholic faith in the area, see Parish of Clontarf (Roman Catholic) and Parish of Coolock (Roman Catholic).
