Parietaria officinalis (Pellitory-of-the-Wall), also known as Lichwort or Hammerwort, is a plant of the Nettle family. Its leaves, however, are non-stinging. The plant grows on rubbish and on walls, hence the name. It was once used as a medicinal herb and in the making of certain metheglins.

It is unrelated to Anacyclus pyrethrum, also called pellitory.
