The painting of the St. Mary in the mountains of the Swiss Italian region (Calnegia valley). Unlike the most of the parietal art, this painting is from the more recent past

Parietal art is artwork done on cave walls or large blocks of stone. One of the most famous examples of parietal art is Grotte Chauvet in France.^{[citation needed]}
