Pari Pantazopoulos (b September 17, 1988) is a Greek football player signed for the Cyprus team ASIL Lysi.[1]

Pantazopoulos was born in Athens and began playing football aged 4. He played for the Athens youth team Vrilisia F.C. for around 4 years before his family moved to the United States in 1998. In Chicago, he played with Green And White and joined the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) where he was recognised by Chicago Magic, the number one US boys' club.[2]

Pantazopoulos played as a starter for Magic and reached the US Youth Soccer National Championships final in Florida where they lost 1-0 to California's Arsenal F.C.[citation needed]. With the US ODP 1988's, he competed against the Brazilian team in Lloret De Mar, Spain in 2006.[3]

He was an all-state 4 year starter forward with Prospect High School's team, the Prospect Knights and scored 51 career goals.[4][5]

He was scouted by F.C. Koln in his senior year, but declined the offer in favour of remaining with his high school team. In 2006, he signed with Asil Lyssi, a second division team in Cyprus.

Pari Pantazopoulos plans on moving back to the United States at the end of his contract with Cyprus to begin a long career in Major League Soccer.[citation needed]
