Parfait Shucrell (パルフェ シュクレール Parufe Shukurēru?) is the protagonist from the gal game Little Witch Parfait and its sequel Little Witch Heart2: Heartful Memories. Her name is a type of pun, referring to a parfait, which in Japan is an ice-cream sundae. "Sucré" from her surname is the French for "sweet," therefore her name means a sweet sundae. In both games she is depicted as an awkward, cheerful girl who will stop nowhere to rescue her friends who are in need.

[edit] Little Witch Parfait
In the first series of all the Kogado's Little Witch (Magical girl or Maiden Witch) series: Little Witch Parfait, Parfait is the controllable character in the game. She has recently lost her mother and is in the risk of losing the last of her mother's memories: her shop, the Black Cat Market. She must save the market by 12 months, encountering people who will determine her future at the same time. Parfait is awkward but kind, prepared to do anything save her mother's last possession. Such personality makes her impossible to discourage.
[edit] Little Witch Parfait 2: Heartful Memories
In "Heartful Memories," the sequel to "Little Witch Parfait," Parfait is more mature than before, although her clumsy personality has not yet changed. In this game, Parfait discovers a mysterious boy, the controllable character, from near a waterfall called Crabelle. Accepting the advice from the wise witch, Parfait allows the boy to share her house with him, in return for his potion-making services. She soon discovers that she is in love with him.
Later on in one ending of the game, Parfait is revealed to be the girlfriend of the boy who has come from the future. However, she is called Yuri instead of Parfait Shucrell - her appearances to Parfait are similar and she seems to have the same Light Pendant which Parfait has in the world of the past.

Reinette Kishuru: A tough, teenage rival of Parfait. Possessing a surprisingly soft side to Parfait's clumsy kindness, Reinette is not easily prone to emotion. Nonetheless, she soon develops a blame for Parfait and anyone around her. If Parfait has chosen to save Reinette, she will have rescued Reinette and kissed her, healing back Reinette's softer side.
Perky Shucrell: The father of Parfait, who attempted to stop the war of the Light Country, and met Parfait's mother. He is revealed to be the boy Parfait has met from the waterfall at the beginning of "Heartful Memories."

Flore Milfia: Parfait's closest friend from her childhood. Flore is regularly at her flower garden and offers Parfait her flowers which she needs for her potion-making (mostly herbs).

- Yuri from the Yuri Ending seems to have been drawn from the same linework from the Parfait Shucrell's picture from her meeting with Perky, for she is facing the same direction and hand movement, with the same anxious look on her face directed at the same person: Perky.
- Parfait wears a ribbon which can move depending on how she feels: this resembles the plaits of Arika Yumemiya from the anime My-Otome. My-Otome Zwei also has a girl called Ribbon-chan.
- Parfait's surname Shucrell can also be spelt Sucreal.
- Parfait is a major character in any of the Little Witch Parfait (series).
