The Spotted Slug Snake Pareas macularius is a species of snake found in India (Darjeeling), Bangladesh, Myanmar (= Burma), Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, N West Malaysia and S China (Yunnan, Guangxi, Guangdong). Race tamdaoensis: Vietnam; Type locality: TL Tam Dao, N Vietnam [tamdaoensis].
