Paradise Township is located in Coles County, Illinois. The population was 1,324 at the 2000 census. A small portion of the city of Mattoon as well as the unincorporated hamlets of Paradise and Etna are located in this township. U.S. Route 45 and Interstate 57 also pass through this township.
