The Paradise Rock Club is a small (650 person capacity) music venue in Boston, Massachusetts, which opened in 1977. It is notable for having been the first American club played by UK-based bands The Police, The Pretenders, U2 and The Cranberries. Because of its small size it has often been the first concert location for American bands visiting Boston for the first time (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, R.E.M., and Steve Earle).
For a partial list of artists who have played there, see The Paradise Rock Club web site.
