The Parachute Music Festival is an event aimed at a wide demographic, ranging from families to teenagers. It has a wide range of entertainment for festival guests, not just music. Before moving to Totara Springs Christian Centre, Matamata, from El Rancho Christian Holiday Camp, Waikanae, in 1995, the festival was called Mainstage.
