The consultancy PARK advanced design management pro-actively co-defines the design management discipline, since over ten years. PARK is an independent international design management-consultancy in Hamburg (DE) and Noordeloos (NL). PARK is worldwide one of a few business consultancies, that focuses purely on design management and design leadership and has therefore no hands-on design services in its portfolio. Founded in the year 1998 by Tim Selders and Frans Joziasse, it concentrates on design organisation, design process and design strategy. Although these areas strongly interlink, they distinguish four main service areas:
- design process [appropriate design processes and tools]
- design research [inspiring design research insights]
- design strategy [right strategic design focus & directions]
- design resources [coaching & matching of designers]

PARK's clients are (a) design professionals directing designers, like design managers or directors and (b) non-design professionals dealing with designers, like business executives, brand or marketing managers, market researchers & product planners. Most of their clients are mid-size to large organisations with an internal design function, in Europe, Asia and the US.
