Paperny Films

Paperny Films is a Vancouver based, Academy Award nominated producer of television programming ranging from character-driven documentaries to provocative comedy to quirky reality shows. They have produced a range of programs such as: "Crash Test Mommy", "Glutton for Punishment", "Road Hockey Rumble" "My Fabulous Gay Wedding", "KinK", and "Confessions of an Innocent Man".

Their most recent production is "The Week The Women Went", based on a BBC 3 program of the same title. It explores the idea of gender roles and more specifically, what would happen if the women of a small town left for seven days. The show was taped in Hardisty, Alberta from June 2 to June 9, 2007. It will air for eight consecutive weeks on CBC in Canada, starting January 21, 2008.
