[edit] Plot summary

The entire team investigates when a robbery at a grocery store turns into a shootout, leaving five people dead, one of whom is a police officer. The evidence leads Grissom to doubt the story of Officer Fromansky, the other police officer at the scene.

[edit] Continuity

Officer Fromansky bears a grudge against Grissom after being treated as a suspect in the vigilante case from episode "All for Our Country".

This is the second time the MGM Grand fire ("...they found people fused to the slot machines...") is mentioned by CSI.

[edit] Notes

  • "Paper or Plastic" was watched by 30.9 million people, the highest total viewers ever for the show at the time.[citation needed]
  • Eric Szmanda does not appear in this episode.
