Paolo Hubalde (born January 24, 1981 in Quezon City) is a Filipino professional basketball player currently playing with the Barangay Ginebra Kings. He is the son of one o the greatest shooter ever played in the PBA, Freddie Hubalde. Paolo plays in the guard position.
Paolo was the lone draft by the San Miguel Beermen in 2005 probably a move if he can be an understudy for the aging Olsen Racela. His role diminished when the Beermen took in Brandon Cablay and played only 8 games in that season in just 5 minutes a night of exposure.
But the 24-year old guard saw himself reuniting with coach Jong Uichico with the Barangay Ginebra Kings in a multi-player trade in the early part of the season. Unfortunately, he has to wait for his chance to be included in the regular roster after the Kings signed up with veteran Johnny Abarrientos to be the chief backup of Jayjay Helterbrand.
