Paolo Gavelli is a clarinettist, he always recalls the teachings of Paolo Budini, Antony Pay and Giora Feidman. He has played in the orchestras of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro Stabile and Teatro Comunale in Genoa as well as in Filarmonica Italiana, touring in France, Russia, Mexico; he has also partecipated in international festivals in Avignon, Guanajuato and Venice. As an ocarina player he has played in important international festivals in Budrio, Tunzenberg and Braz. With the Klezemer Trio he has recently recorded a CD of Klezmer music for Ocarina Workshop. Besides ocarinas and clarinets he plays Slovak fujara, duduk, oktavin, tà rogatò, ethnic flutes, schwegel, fozhobel and bansuri.
