Paolo Bergamo is an Italian former football referee, who was born on April 21, 1943.[1] He is now better known as the former Italian Football Federation (FIGC) referee designator who was implicated in the Serie 'A' scandal of 2006, and who "stepped down" from his position on July 4, 2006.[2]
