[edit] Your assignment
What exactly are you supposed to do in your assignment? Veinor (ヴエノル(talk)) 21:20, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- We are supposed to update, edit, or create wikipedia articles. We were provided with a list of options and the point values for each one. We're supposed to make enough changes to equal fourty points. That's basically it. We can cover any articles (within reason) and I decided to cover my home town for a few of mine.PandaRico 21:25, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ASU Herald
Thought you might want to know that your page ASU Herald has been proposed for deletion; you can see the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ASU Herald. Veinor (ヴエノル(talk)) 22:31, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your userpage
I noticed that you still seem somewhat upset at the deletion of the pages you created, and note that the professors at your school believe the page to be notable, and cite their degrees as proof. I would like you to note that this is somewhat of an ad hominem, as you assume my lack of degrees does not qualify me to judge notability. Furthermore, you also assume that the degrees are relevant. I ask you, does my programming experience lend weight to my argument? Of course not.
Second, you assume that they are impartial observers. Since they teach at your school, they are obviously not neutral; they might possess a degree of 'school spirit' that would cause their beliefs.
Third, have they read the policies? Because if they haven't, then I'm afraid their opinions on notability are null and void. Veinor (ヴエノル(talk)) 06:46, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
