[edit] Signature
I see you've been experimenting with signatures. You might want to check out this page if you need help. :)—G.He 20:43, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yep, I'm trying to follow the directions. It's not working. Any links to "signature customization for dodos?" :) [[User:Panchitaville|<font color="Blue">'''Panchitaville'''</font> [[User talk:Panchitaville|'''<font color="Purple">talk</font>''']]]] 20:47, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- If you're trying to make a custom signature like what you're doing now, you should check the raw signature box. By doing so, your HTML & Wiki tags should work.—G.He 21:03, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- I know this isn't the sandbox, but let's see. I think I've got it. However, I don't think I'll stick with orange! :) Thanks for all your help! Panchitaville talk to me 21:04, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism
Thank you SO MUCH for reverting vandalism on my user page. That vandal has been vandalising my user page ever since I warned him 5 times and reported him to WP:AIV. Again, thanks, and keep up the good work.

[edit] Welcome to Esperanza!
Welcome, Panchitaville, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.
I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee comprised of JoanneB, FireFox and Titoxd. The next set of elections will be in April, we will keep you updated about the results. Because you are a new member, you are not able to vote in these elections, but you will be more than welcome to take part in the elections in June.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Celestianpower by email or talk page or the Esperanza talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC Tutorial written by one of our members. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

- If you want I could help you with your userpage. ILovEPlankton 03:42, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- Got any good resource links first to help on creating a pretty userpage? I've looked around but haven't found anything great yet. Once I get the tags down I can see if I can do something basic. Thanks! Panchitavilletalk 03:47, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- For starters you could check out Web Colors, which will show a whole bunch of different colors for you to choose from, you can read the article HTML, you can also read these [1] [2] [3] [4] ILovEPlankton 04:01, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- Also if you don't want to have to go through all that trouble got to other users userpages and copy their code (I did it). :P ILovEPlankton 04:03, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- Aha, HTML....I can do that....well, a bit anyway. I've got my lists of hex codes all sharpened up and ready to go! (Well, insofar as I have time -- I'm realizing that I can't seem to do everything at once!) Panchitavilletalk 04:20, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Delaware politician stubs
Hi Panchitaville
Since you're going through the U.S. material, you might also want to keep an eye out for politicians from Delaware. {{Delaware-politician-stub}} was created without proposal almost half a year ago, but it has never been used at all. I have no idea if it is viable or not. Valentinian (talk) 07:57, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- Will do! I've been trying to sort as I go, but I don't always do that perfectly. Thanks for the heads up! Panchitavilletalk 02:07, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You're welcome!
You know you've finally arrived as a Wikipedian and started to make a real diffence when it happens, so wear it as a deserved badge of pride - it means you've done something positive and good for personkind and been zapped for it! No, really!
And thanks for noticing and for saying thanks - I often miss it happening to my own page and discover it later too, but I'm always grateful to the person who took time out to do something about it. :o) ➨ ≡ЯΞDVΞRS≡ 19:27, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I know it's a badge of pride! I see the counters that have 100 instances of vandalism or whatever and I think, "My goodness, what an honor!"
- However, seeing vandalism as a bad thing, I put that up there to show that I am taking that seriously. While having a page vandalized means something, it may also backfire and cause more vandalism. Panchitavilletalk 02:40, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for your message, and an answer!
I'm from QLD, but have fallen in love with Sufjan Stevens' album 'Illinois'! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Illinoiserocks (talk • contribs) 19:54, 27 May, 2006.
- I've never heard that album before, I'll have to listen to it sometime!
- My bad - thanks! And yes, go buy it, immediately! Sambo 03:34, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- No worries! And maybe I'll see where I can hear some samples, if this dialup doesn't get too wonky on me! Panchitavilletalk 03:39, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to WikiProject Arizona!
Good to have you aboard. I am hoping to see us move to collaborative efforts on building up articles about Arizona. Feel invited to help make this happen or to suggest other work we might do on the project. Kukini 13:13, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 00:04, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A short Esperanzial update
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
