Bloc Thugs was formed by 4 Wellington students coming from different backgrounds. With the leader sing Reflect growing up in the hard knock streets of C-town, Ka'ka is the founder of Bloc Thugs coming from living in the Melgrave Carvan Park, the latino heart throb byron is the looks and brains of the group being brought up in spring-town, and last is the cracker panda from noble park.

Bloc Thugs first single is called Cage. Cage was inspired by Reflect and Panda when they were playing soccer on the basketball "cage" courts and relised that the cage was a battlefield with no rules. It is due to be released on July the 4th 2007
