In re-organizing and copy-editing this article on January 11, 2005, I made a few assumptions where I could not tell the meaning of the original. I am not sure if it is just men who wear Western attire, or women as well. I am not certain that Allimudin Shaw was a Pangal, but I cannot think of any other reason the author would have mentioned him. I am not certain whether all injured parties in the riot mentioned were also displaced, so I left the phrasing as "injured and displaced". --Thunk 17:03, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
